After my first visit to Kaizen Martial Arts Academy it was clear they were leading the way as a top notch professional martial arts training facility with strong leadership and innovative programming. We brought on Kaizen founder Mr. Derek Frader to our XMA 2.0 team to help execute our operations at our XMA World Headquarters flagship facility in Los Angeles due to his outstanding commitment to furthering Life Skills & Leadership Training and interest in expanding his efforts on a global scale. We are excited to be working with such a passionate and outstanding individual who is committed to creating positive impact and lasting change in his students and community.

From the moment I walked into Kaizen I could feel the energy. Everything from the staff, instructors, students, and even the facility itself gives off a positive energy that makes you feel welcome and excited to train. Kaizen is a school without walls. It brings in experts from different styles of martial arts to inspire their students and develop them into superb athletes and people.

I would like to take a moment and personally thank you and all of the instructors at Kaizen for the excellent school that you have created. We are especially grateful for the family atmosphere, and the opportunity to learn with our children. As a father this has been an answer to my prayers, as I have tried to find a way to improve my family's health and to stop the slow slide into a sedentary lifestyle after our recent relocation here. I also had been looking for a way to improve my family's self confidence and discipline, and Kaizen has answered that call.
Years ago I had taken martial arts and gymnastics and had learned how much fun it was while being physically demanding. With those memories I had decided that this might be a good way to get my family interested in something physical, but not what they consider a "boring" sport. I started looking at some of the various martial arts schools around the area and was disappointed to find out that we would not be allowed to learn together as family, and that most were geared towards teaching children. Since all my children are in their teens this was a concern, not to mention that we have always did things together as family, be it sea kayaking in Ireland, hiking the alps, or just learning something new together. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Kaizen is also an XMA school, which takes martial arts to a whole new level by including a lot of gymnastics and various other martial arts forms into it.
Since we started last April I have seen a huge improvement in my family's health, their confidence, and their energy level. We rarely turn on the TV now, and spend much less time in front of the computers. The best part about this is that I do not have to push them out the door, they are ready and willing to go, even if they are a little sore from the previous day. My wife especially, who has had a heart condition since birth, has also noticed a huge improvement in her health. Yet she knows that if she needs to slow down a little during class, that she will not be frowned upon but will be supported instead.
Thanks again for having a wonderful school with professional instructors who also have great personalities.
Sincerely,
Ken Giles
